Toyota launched the Sedan version of the Etios in India on 1st Dec 2010, which comes with only one engine option of 1.5 litre Petrol. The success of Etios was reflected in the huge bookings, long delivery periods and of course the drop in sales of segment competitors.

Mercedes Benz SL 350 & GL 500 launch in Delhi, India

As reported in our 2nd May post, Mercedes India launched the SL 350 and GL 500 models from its International range on 3rd May in Delhi.
SL 350 comes with a 3.5litre V6 engine which produces 315bhp of power and 360Nm of torque. SL 350 has an electrically retractable roof and reaches 100kmph speed in just 6.2 seconds. SL 350 will be brought in a Completely Build Unit (CBU) and is priced at Rs. 98.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Not too long ago if we wanted a compact, cheap, practical and reliable car, the only option were the Japanese, but lately the Korean Car major Hyundai has been redefining this statement.
