Bond Car Aston Martin for sale, Mahindra & Mahindra leading the race

Legendary British car maker and James Bond movie featured Aston Martin is up for sale by majority stake owners Investment Dar Company.

The Kuwait based investment firm had bought a 64% stake in Aston Martin from Ford in 2007 for $805 million and is now approaching potential buyer for selling the same.

New 250cc Sports Bike from Hero MotoCorp

Country's largest two wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp after its two years of breakup with its Japanese technology partner Honda is working fast on its ambitious international plans and to showcase its capabilities.

Hero MotoCorp is working on a new 250cc Sports bike developed in association with its new technology partner EBR (Erik Buell Racing). This indigenously developed bike is targeted to be unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo.

Global auto giant Volkswagen' India arm has forayed into multi-brand pre-used car business. Formed under Das WeltAuto branding (VW's global pre-used car brand), VW aims at a total 25% revenue from this business to the total company sales.

Hyundai India to invest in flexible engine plant

Country's second largest car maker and largest car exporter Hyundai India announced an investment of USD 300 million for setting up a new flexible engine plant.

The investment planned is for setting up a world class engine plant and a new press shop. According to Hyundai, this investment would create employment for about 400 people apart from the indirect employment.

Audi India success story continues, registers 76% growth in October sales.

Luxury car major Audi registered a total sales of 850 units in October 2012 in India. This is a 76% rise compared to 482 units in the corresponding period last year (October 2011).
