Royal Enfield Continental GT coming this October


The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cafe Racer is all set to be launched in the UK in the second week of September. After the inauguration of a new manufacturing facility at Oragadam near Chennai in April, the Continental GT is the first new product from the classic motor cycle brand. It was showcased at 2012 Auto Expo as a concept.

Mahindra & Mahindra gets an updated version of its XUV500


Mahindra & Mahindra has brought in a 2nd version of its XUV 500 what M&M likes to call, the ‘zero-defect’ vehicle. Mahindra has basically made some list of improvements to enhance the feel and functions of the car and sort out the issues the earlier model reported.

Ford EcoSport draws huge demand, Bookings paused.


It was reported previously that there was a long wait for EcoSport deliveries, stretching to as long as nine months in some cases, but now some Ford dealers have stopped taking bookings of all the petrol models of the EcoSport, including the two 1.0-litre EcoBoost trims, because of excess demand.



Nissan Qashqai SUV to soon come to India

Nissan’s Alliance partner Renault has just celebrated a super-successful first year of the Duster in the Indian market, and we’re just weeks away from the reveal of the new Nissan Terrano. But that’s not where the SUV onslaught stops. Nissan is reportedly working hard to bring in the Euro-market Qashqai crossover to sit above the Terrano in the company’s Indian line-up.



Volvo Eicher to launch about two dozen new models.

India's third biggest manufacturer of medium and heavy commercial vehicles Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) is preparing to launch two dozen products, starting later this year till 2015. The joint venture company aims to increase its market share in the segment at least threefold.



TVS Motor's new assembly line to be setup in Uganda

TVS Motor Company today announced its plans to set up an assembly line in Uganda. The company will also launch two new motorcycle models for Uganda. The company has appointed a new distributor, Yuvaraj International Uganda Limited. This announcement comes within a week from the announcement of commissioning an assembly line at Nakuru in Kenya.



Nissan Terrano to be unveiled on August 20.

Nissan India that had released the official sketches of the much anticipated compact SUV Terrano a month ago, has now confirmed to unveil the vehicle in Mumbai on August 20. Nissan Terrano which has been designed on the hugely popular Renault Duster has however managed to make it look refreshed and different than the later.
