New Bajaj Discover to be launched on 14th May

Bajaj will launch the new Discover on 14th May. The new Discover gets an all-new styling but resembles the Discover styling-language. The new bike will be sold alongside the current Discover.
From the images, it is clear that next-gen Discover will receive a complete makeover in terms of style, Bajaj has given the new Discover a Sporty styling.

The front is almost similar to the Discover 150 DTSi, which was showcased earlier at the 2008 Auto Expo. The instrumentation console has been changed from twin-pod analog layout to a new single analog layout, but a digital instrumentation is missing.

The rear view mirrors are similar to Pulsar 200NS, while the turn indicators are the same from the Pulsar 135. However, the big change for the new model is the rear suspension, where the twin gas filled shock absorbers have been replaced with a gas-charged monoshock unit, it is a first bike to feature in the segment.

The new discover has contoured seat and it is fitted with half chain cover. The new Discover also sports new exhaust muffler and a set of new alloy wheels design looks similar to the Pulsar 200NS.

The Discover 125 will compete head-on with the likes of Hero MotoCorp's Splendor motorcycles, Honda's CB Twister, Stunner and upcoming Dream Yuga which is also coming this month and TVS's StarCity commuter bikes as well as all other rival 125cc bikes currently sold in India.
